What Remains (ما تبقى)

The story starts with a long-standing wound inside one family, where family ties get mixed with greed, and silence helps hide wrongdoing.

Yousif tells the story not just by remembering what happened, but by dealing with what those events left behind. Through this, we see his complicated relationship with a man named Ivan, who carried a burden of guilt that was never entirely his own.

The story moves from home to exile, and from betrayal to survival. Lives become connected, and people are forced to make choices they cannot undo.

When their paths cross again, the real question is no longer what was lost, but what is left of a person when they are faced with revenge on one side and forgiveness on the other.  

تبدأ الحكاية من جرح قديم داخل عائلة واحدة، حيث تختلط القرابة بالطمع، ويصبح الصمت شريكًا في الجريمة.

يوسف، وهو يروي القصة، لا يستعيد الأحداث بقدر ما يواجه آثارها، كاشفًا علاقة معقّدة برجل اسمه إيفان، رجل عاش عمره محمّلًا بذنب لم يكن له وحده.

من بيت إلى منفى، ومن خيانةٍ إلى نجاة، تتشابك المصائر وتتكشّف الخيارات التي لا يمكن التراجع عنها.

وحين تتقاطع الطرق من جديد، لا يكون السؤال عمًا فُقِد، بل عمّا تَبَقّى من الإنسان حين يُمتحَن بين الانتقام والرحمة
